Columbia County, NY Family Photographer | From Alice to Olivia--Four Beautiful Generations
When Brianna reached out to me for her extended family portraits, it was the most uncanny phone conversation. It seemed as if she was describing my own family to me--being the first grandchild and always being close to her grandparents, having a younger brother and two younger sisters, and feeling happiness watching her daughter being loved by them all. Each of these things totally apply to me, too--our grandmas even share the name Alice--so I knew I was going to feel right at home photographing her family.
We had a gorgeous fall day on the farm property that Brianna is restoring, and the rustic buildings, barns, and doors were the perfect backdrop to capture her family. We created these 4 generation portraits so when Alice and Bob move to North Carolina they'll have beautiful images of their family to treasure, especially of great-granddaughter Olivia.
Thank you all for a really fun photo session, an even more fun Reveal appointment (I laughed so hard!!), and the opportunity to create some really beautiful heirloom products to display your lovely family. I can't wait until your albums, wall art, and other products arrive so I can show you in person. But, like I said, I knew my job was done when I got an unnamed teenage family member to say that she kinda liked her family after all! Hahahaha!
